1Reach Guwahati railway station / airport and meet our representative there. From there start journey to Bhalukpong. Bhalukpung is a small town located along the southern reaches of the Himalayas in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh in India. The town is located at 699 feet above sea level, 100 km from Bomdila, 52 km from Tezpur & 245 km from Guwahati. It lies along the Kameng river and is the headquarters of Bhalukpung circle. It takes around 5 hours and 30 minutes to cover the distance of 245 KM, but the beautiful roads, hills and other sceneries on the way will not let you get bored. Reach Bhalukpong gate (The Entrance of Arunachal Pradesh). After checking and verification of Inner-line Permit check in to your hotel. Have your meal and refreshment. 2Early in the morning start journey from Bhalukpong to Dirang – A journey of around 140 km. The journey will take about 5 hours. It is always recommended to set out for Dirang as early as possible (Preferably at 7:00 in the morning). Enjoy the spooky hills and the beautiful Kameng River on the way. 3After breakfast Set out for Tawang via Sela Pass (World’s 2nd highest pass). Check out the Sela Lake, Nuranag Falls & Jaswant Thada. Check in to your hotel and get your refreshments. Tawang was historically part of Tibet inhabited by the Monpa people. The Tawang Monastery was founded by the Merak Lama Lodre Gyatso in 1681 in accordance with the wishes of the 5th Dalai Lama, Ngawang Lobsang Gyatso, and has an interesting legend surrounding its name, which means "Chosen by Horse". The sixth Dalai Lama, Tsangyang Gyatso, was born in Tawang. The inhabitants here mostly belong to Monpa Tribes and it’s also the place of Mahayana Buddhists. The area is part of the wider dispute between India and China concerning Arunachal Pradesh and is claimed by China as a part of Tibet A walk can be taker around the village and to the local market. 4After breakfast visit local sightseeing covering 400 years old Tawang Monastery - Namgye Lhaste and local visiting places. Get back to hotel. 5After breakfast start Journey to Bum La Pass via P-Tso (lake). Bum La Pass is located 37 km away from Tawang, at the Indo-China border (15,200 feet above sea level).
